The Punjab government recently conducted a balloting event for the Chief Minister Punjab Bike Scheme 2024, and has subsequently released a list of successful candidates. The e-balloting event was led by Punjab Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan.

During this event, vice-chancellors from various universities and enthusiastic male and female students were present. The scheme received a staggering total of 72,640 applications from across the province, of which 57,370 were for petrol bikes and 15,270 were for e-bikes. This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to promoting accessibility and mobility for students across Punjab.

Punjab Bike Scheme 2024 Balloting List
The initiative includes a separate provision for female students to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities. Out of the total petrol bikes, 11,676 are assigned for male students, and 7,324 are reserved for female students. In the same way, 700 electric bikes will be provided to male students and 300 to female students. The Punjab government’s Education Friendly Initiative has introduced this program to offer improved mobility options to students and demonstrate their commitment to empowering them.
Under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Bike Scheme 2024, students in Lahore and other Punjabi cities are excited to receive bikes.
Bilal Akbar Khan, provincial transport minister, supervised the e-balloting process, which has been recognized for its efforts to empower women. Students in various divisions are getting thousands of e-electric bikes and 19,000 petrol bikes.
