- To be eligible for MBBS admissions, students must obtain a minimum of 55% marks on the MDCAT. For BDS admissions, students must have more than 50% marks on the MDCAT exam.
MDCAT 2024 Paper Pattern
In the National MDCAT, there won’t be any negative marking. The total number of marks for the exam is 210, which is equivalent to 210 multiple-choice questions. The allotted time for the paper is 3.5 hours. This means that you will get one minute per MCQ. This time frame is ample if you have prepared well for the exam.

Merit Criteria for admission
Merit criteria for admission are as follows: MDCAT counts for 50%, FSc for 40% (it is not specified whether whole FSc or only science subjects will be counted) and Matric for 10%. Additional marks will be given to Hufaaz and Special Students as an appreciation.
