Benefits of YES Program Scholarship 2024
The YES program covers major expenses, including:
- Airfare
- US Visa Fees
- Boarding and Lodging (Accommodation and Meals) in the US
- School tuition
- Monthly stipend: $125
Youth Exchange and Study Program Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the YES program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a Pakistani citizen residing in Pakistan.
- Grade Level: Enrolled in 9th or 10th grade; O level 11th class students are not eligible.
- Age Requirement: Must be between 15 to 17 years of age by the start of the program (15 August 2025).
Academic Performance:
- Minimum 60% marks in all major/core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science) in final examination.
- Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in last three years.
- There should be no gap year or repeat year.
- English Proficiency: At least 60% marks in English examinations in the last three years.
- Travel History: Have not traveled to the US before.
Additional selection criteria
- In addition to the above requirements, students are more likely to be shortlisted if they:
- Pass the entry test.
- Understand and represent Pakistani culture and values.
- Demonstrate maturity, flexibility and adaptability.
- Hosts are willing to participate fully in the daily life of the family.
- Keep records of required immunizations.
- Agree to maintain a ‘B’ grade average in US high school.
- YES students are willing to abide by the rules.

How to Apply For YES Program Scholarship 2024
Step 1: Initial Application
Download initial application from www.yespk.org and send completed documents by courier to SIE office.
Female students, students with physical disabilities, and students from non-elite or public schools are encouraged to apply.
Step 2: Entrance Test
Shortlisted applicants will be informed about YES Orientation and Entry Test.
Step 3: Interview and group activity
Successful candidates of the entry test will be invited for interviews and group activities. They have to fill the YES final application.
Step 4: English Language Test
Shortlisted students will take a standardized English language test for international students.
Step 5: Final Evaluation
Selection will be based on the entry test, interviews, and a completed YES final application. Finalists will receive a notification letter and scholarship acceptance form.
