Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund (CMEEF) Scholarship for 2025. This fully funded scholarship is available to students in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It covers all educational expenses and provides a monthly stipend of PKR 5000/-.
The CMEEF Scholarship is based on both merit and financial need. It is offered by the Department of Higher Education, Archives and Libraries, and is available to BS, BE, MS, MPhil, and PhD students. programs in selected subjects and institutions.

Only those students who have Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile and are enrolled in selected institutions can apply. Applications should be submitted directly to the institution where the student is enrolled. Any incorrect information will result in the cancellation of the scholarship, and applications sent to the Management Unit Office will not be accepted.

The eligibility criteria for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs are:
For undergraduate programs:
- Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is required.
- Be accepted in one of the “Approved Institutions”.
- Must not receive any other scholarship.
- The monthly income of the family should not exceed PKR 100,000 from all sources.
- A bond or undertaking is required.
For Post Graduate Programs (MS/MPhil/Ph.D.):
- Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is required.
- Must meet admission criteria or have a valid offer of admission to an approved subject or institution.
- For MS/MPhil: Minimum 50% in GRE/GAT (General or Subject).
- For PhD: Minimum 60% in GRE/GAT (General or Subject).
- Age should be less than 50 years at the time of application.
- Should have 1st class academic career (minimum 1st division or CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5).
- Must not receive any other scholarship.
- The monthly income of the family should not exceed PKR 100,000 from all sources.
- A bond or undertaking is required.
