Scholarships for education have been announced by the Ministries of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs for migrant students from Azad Kashmir, Jammu, and Kashmir. Applications for the award of new scholarships are being accepted on the prescribed forms from A.K. National/J&K Refugee students who have been accepted based on general merit into recognized institutions in Pakistan and J&K for the calendar year 2023, or who have been nominated by this Ministry, Secretary, Nomination Board, AJ&K.

Only students who are refugees from J&K and citizens of the United Kingdom enrolled between 1.1.2023 and 31.12.2023 may use this application. Students who apply and meet the requirements will be considered for the grant stipend, which will be determined by the fixed quota allotted for A.K. Nationals/Refugees from J&K, as well as their merit in the following courses.

How to apply for the KANA Kashmir Scholarship
The application, in the format provided and accessible on the KA&GB Division website (www.kana.gov.pk), must be filled out and sent by registered mail to the undersigned by May 31, 2024.

The application form must be submitted with verification copies of the applicant’s State Subject Certificate, Residence Certificate, Marks Sheets, NCC Certificate, etc. Scholarship recipients will only be those who have earned at least 50% of the possible points in the final test. Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, or include any false representations will be refused. Additionally, altering any information on the application form or credentials may prevent the candidate from being eligible to receive the scholarship.
The relevant authorities will verify the certificate, including the mark sheets and the address. Forgers will face consequences if they are discovered to be engaged. It is not open to students who are receiving scholarships from other sources. Applications for study programs not listed above will not be taken into consideration.
